That's right; we don't let agents pay to get on our referral list. We do allow them to apply to be considered for our network, but we want to see their credentials not their money.OK, Sounds Good, what's the catch?
How can The Referral Network provide all this service as well as get John and I to do all this work without charging a fee to the consumer or charging agents to get on our referral list? Good question, John and I are nice guys but we need to feed our families too. So how do we do it? Even though most consumers are probably not aware of this, it is a standard practice in the Real Estate industry for an agent that has a customer referred to them by another agent to give the referring agent a cut of their commission when, and if, the sale closes. This does NOT increase the commission charged to the Seller or Buyer, it simply reduces the amount the agent receives and agents are more than happy to do this to receive the business.
